Our story

Three decades of looking after Seychelles

H Savy Insurance began operations in 1995, offering a comprehensive range of general business insurance products. In 2003, in response to strong customer demand, we entered the life insurance market.

Today we are firmly established as a progressive commercial company and the leading general business insurer in Seychelles. Our Praslin office, opened in 2012, brought our services closer to residents of Praslin and the inner islands, who until then had to travel to Mahé.

1995

H Savy Insurance opens, offering general business insurance.

2003

We enter life insurance, in response to strong customer demand.

2006

We adopt the Foyer de la Providence children’s home, a partnership that continues today.

2012

Our Praslin office opens at the Pension Fund Complex, Grand Anse.

2020

We celebrate 25 years and open a dedicated Life insurance office in Victoria.

2023

A new sales office opens at Kingsgate House, Independence Avenue.

We work with a wide network of reinsurers and reinsurance brokers, and closely with Reinsurance Solutions of Mauritius on treaty reinsurance.
